has been an outstanding vibrant part of the Red Hawk Swim & Fitness team for 2 years – anyone that goes to the Swim & Fitness Center at Red Hawk Golf and Resort knows if they see Alicia behind the counter, that whatever their issue, situation, concern, or question… Alicia can make it better!
Alicia is an all-around fitness and outdoor enthusiast and fits into the Sparks-Reno lifestyle perfectly! She loves camping, fishing, and hiking with her family and friends, as well as oil, acrylic painting. Who knows… we might see an Alicia Hull original hanging over in the golf shop one day soon! Before joining our Red Hawk Team, Alicia practiced cosmetology for 18 years and raised her three children.. which is an ongoing project (kids and cosmetology both!).
When asked what her favorite thing about working at Red Hawk is, Alicia answered “seeing all of our Member’s hard work and efforts and their results! She has lost over 70 pounds in the past 6 months and our Members have been such an inspiration for her to keep moving and going!” When not at work, Alicia and her husband, kids, and pets spend time outdoors enjoying all that Northern Nevada offers, you might see Alicia in the park, out on a hike, in the mountains – and she knows how to help you use the Swim & Fitness Center to best prepare you for your outdoor lifestyle!
Alicia has a lot of ideas for keeping the Swim & Fitness Center fresh and exciting, including, new classes, new studio space, some pool patio re-fresh ideas, a fresh fitness menu for take-out items from David’s restaurant, and other types of ideas she can’t wait to roll out. The first roll out will be the new-2018-membership structure and Reformer Pilates upgrades and plan.
If you haven’t tried out the Red Hawk Golf and Resort Swim & Fitness Center and you are a Private Club Member – please stop by and ask Alicia to show you around and talk about getting a fitness program tailored for you! If you live in the area and are interested in trying out the Swim & Fitness Center we enthusiastically welcome you – and stop by and see Alicia for a free trial pass!

ANTHONY WALSH – ASSISTANT MANGER
Anthony started his journey at Red Hawk Swim & Fitness 3 years ago when he was a freshman at the University of Nevada Reno, and boy did we get lucky!
Over these past 3 years Anthony has become pivotal in our early morning routine at RH Swim & Fitness; just ask any of our early morning groupies…. Anthony will be there, snow, ice, sleet, or other inclimate weather to open up ON TIME… yep. Anthony is a role model employee… thus his recent promotion to ASSISTANT MANAGER!! Way to Go Anthony!!
Anthony creates a sense of home for the members of the Red Hawk Swim and Fitness community. Members know him, know they can come to him at 6 am with a concern or issue, and it will get resolved once the right person gets to work later in the day; the issue doesn’t fall off his desk because it happened before 8 am.
You will also see Anthony in the role of Certified Pool Operator.. in addition to a full load at UNR, he was willing to take a class and become one of our primary pool operators, ensure the correct chemical balances and safety standards for the pool are always being met. This not only creates a safe pool, but a pleasurable experience for everyone from the kids splashing around to the recreational swimmers, to the hard core lap swimmers.
Anthony will be graduating from UNR in Spring 2018… we are so very proud of him, and certainly hope he stays with us at Red Hawk! We are sure that as he graduates he will grow even more into our Red Hawk community.
If you aren’t one of the early morning groupies that knows Anthony, we encourage you to take a week and to do your early morning workout when he’s there bright & early… you won’t be sorry. He’s fun and encouraging! Stop by and introduce yourself and be prepared to like Anthony from the first “hello”!
